about

Goddess v. Trump presents another musical pièce de résistance courtesy of the songwriting and performing talents of E.J. Gold and his band FAXL. Playing the role of the Goddess once again, for the first time ever is the chanteuse de la soul, Julia Glasse fearlessly singing truth to power in this whimsically serious indictment of the lawless, conscience-challenged Donald Trump and his servile sycophants, collectively known as the sycos. The blues-based music often reworks familiar melodies, folk and rock songs into topical protests and poignant satire. Glasse does invoke the Goddess, you hear it in the sound of her voice, and the big G isn't messing around in this epic match-up of the ages.
